Dhone or Dronachalam is a mandal in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh. The name Dronachalam is shortened to dhone. according to history of dronachalam the tutor ' dronacharya' (a character in mahabharatha) has done meditation on the hill, where temple, masjid and church are present at one place The former name of Dhone was Dronachalam.
